Parlez Vous : M’exprimer

Open

Parlez Vous: Expressing Me invites students to express who they are — in French.

Parents for Bilingual Education New Brunswick (PBENB), in partnership with Brilliant Labs and the NB Centre of Excellence for Language Learning (NBCOE-LL), is proud to offer Parlez Vous: Expressing Me, a creative video campaign that invites students to express who they are — in French.

Through this engaging media project, students create a 2-minute video (or song, spoken piece, or written performance) that shares something personal: their identity, passions, community, experiences, or ideas. In doing so, they strengthen their French language skills, build confidence, and celebrate bilingualism within their school and community.

This initiative blends language learning with creativity, collaboration, and digital storytelling — empowering students to find and share their voice en français.

  1. Voice & Identity – Express their authentic selves in French using creative media.
  2. Language Proficiency – Strengthen oral and/or written French through drafting, rehearsal, and revision.
  3. Collaboration – Work with peers to develop and refine ideas.
  4. Technical Skills – Build media literacy and video production skills.
  5. Recognize Achievement – Celebrate creativity, effort, and bilingual expression.
